Context

In 2022, 25% of investments in early-stage startups were made in the Climate Tech sector (source: PwC's State of Climate Tech 2022 report). Encouraging encouraging figures at a time when many entrepreneurs are to decarbonize the global economy, in order to slow down to slow global warming. Strong expectations are crystallizing around promising technological innovations.

For many years, CentraleSupélec and AgroParisTech have been supporting entrepreneurs setting up their startups in the Climate Tech sector, focusing on the following areas: Cleantech, Greentech, Decarbonation, Agritech, FoodTech, Decarbonized Mobility, Circular Economy, Newspace for environment.

Every year, more than 20 startups are supported at Saclay and Station F on these themes, at the pre-SEED and SEED STAGE.

Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to :
- DEFINE their value proposition more precisely, and build their Roadmap for the next 18 months, taking into account financial and marketing dimensions
- UNDERSTAND and use the main business models related to the Climate Tech sector (voluntary carbon market, etc...)
- IDENTIFY non-dilutive and dilutive financing for your startup; identify and understand the expectations of the main investors in Climate Tech
- PITCH your startup convincingly to Business Angels and VCs
- IDENTIFY laboratories specialized in Climate Tech issues and set up a research collaboration

Pre-requisites

- Have an entrepreneurial project (alone or with co-founders)
- Have achieved laboratory feasibility of the technology (TRL greater than or equal to 4)

Admission procedure :
- Telephone interview with the business manager to to understand your expectations and your professional project with the training program.
- Send your CV and/or covering letter to the business manager then forwarded to the course leader, who will review who reviews your application and approves or rejects the prerequisites for the course.
- Return within 5 working days. If your application is approved you will be able to register via the registration form transmitted by the business manager.
